handmade jewelry that will make your loved ones cry happy tears
Jennifer, OH
I lost my mom unexpectedly after a brain injury from a tragic accident this past year. Dealing with the trauma, grief, and PTSD brought on new feelings of anxiety and depression. However, an amazing support system of friends and family, especially my fun-loving, full-of-life 3-year-old, has kept me going. I’ve learned that grief is just love with nowhere to go. Tears are the silent language of the heart, and that you can experience beautiful personal growth through tragedy and loss.⠀
Grieving is a highly individual experience; there’s no right or wrong way to grieve and most people experience different feelings, along with anxiety and depression.⠀
Inevitably, the grieving process takes time. Healing happens gradually; it can’t be forced or hurried—and there is no “normal” timetable for grieving. Some people start to feel better in weeks or months. For others, the grieving process is measured in years. Whatever your grief experience, it’s important to be patient with yourself and allow the process to naturally unfold.⠀-Jennifer, OH
